So much to say, so much to say, so much to say....

I almost can't believe it. I am amazed that our country has come so far. 50 years ago, sitting in the front of the bus was a huge stride. From segregation to the White House. Amazing. That's not the only thing that excites me. I'm proud that so many people were able to wade through all of the foolishness and lies, and see the truth. This country is in trouble, and we need fresh, new ideas. Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States of America, has at the very least, inspired people. People have been given faith that things can get better. I hope and pray that everyone will put aside differences, and pray for our next President. He's walking into murky waters. His road will not be easy. But like it or not folks, he's been chosen to lead this country. This should be a time to come together, not further divide. I am fully aware that while this is a historic event, some are very uncomfortable with this. So uncomfortable that small portraits of our next President are no longer permitted to hang in cubicles. The words "President, Barack, or Obama" independantly, and most especially not together are not to be spoken. But that's okay, it will not bring me down. I will not let it get the better of me. I shall sit here and take it, because I have responsibilities. But they can't take away the gladness in my heart.
